Artificial Intelligence Improves Energy Efficiency

In brief

In collaboration with Ento, we have helped major building owners identify energy efficiency potentials across more than 10,000,000 m² - by combining AI with solid building expertise.

In close cooperation with Ento, we have helped several large building owners identify and realize energy efficiency potentials across a total building portfolio of more than 3,000,000 m². By combining artificial intelligence with solid building expertise, we create a quick, data-driven overview that points directly to the most effective energy measures.

Can We Approach Energy Efficiency in a Different Way?

We all have an obligation to use energy more efficiently – both for economic reasons and for the green transition. Traditionally, mapping energy efficiency in larger building portfolios has required significant human resources for time-consuming and often trivial analysis tasks before the greatest potentials could be identified.

In Denmark, a range of readily available building and energy data already exists. When this data is combined with advanced mathematical models and artificial intelligence, it can form the basis for a precise and comparable overview of a building portfolio's energy efficiency. If these analyses are linked with knowledge about the buildings' use and operation, it becomes possible to quickly identify the "low-hanging fruit".

Data-Driven Insights – Translated Into Concrete Action

Entos software analyzes your existing energy data and benchmarks it against hundreds of similar buildings. On top of these analyses, we add an extra layer of knowledge based on practical experience with building operations and energy management. The result is clear, prioritized recommendations that show:

• Where energy consumption can be reduced most effectively

• Which measures provide the greatest CO₂ reduction per krone invested

• How efforts can be prioritized across the entire portfolio
